[ Didnt You Hear”¦] Thats a pretty harsh description, considering there are quite a few people (myself included) who would be proud to call themselves a nerd, yet definitely not one defined by M-W. Wikipedia does a little better, defining nerd as somebody who passionately pursues academic and intellectual interests at the expense of social traits such as interpersonal communication, fashion, hygiene and physical fitness.
