[Technocrat] understand GFDL 1.3: I disagree with your statement that Creative Commons is a soapbox for Larry Lessig's ideals. It is a licence which attempts to provide a balance between copyright as it stands today restricting an end user's rights to media, and digital media in particular and copyleft, which removes almost all restrictions.
