[Cynical Chatter From The Underworld] I don't look in the local paper to see what's on any more, I loook online, if I want the population of the world I look online, if I want a phone number I look online. If I want to see someone elses views on current events I look online, and I can see what other people thought about a book that interests me, the universe is on my desktop.

[Screencasting.blogspot.com] Screencasting - Teach and Learn Online: May 2005: All this is pretty self explanatory, but thanks to the exploits of dodgy advertisers using robotic spam advertising strategies, Blogger has been forced to put in a field to check that you are not just a robot setting up false accounts. Many account services ask you to recognise letters and numbers within pictures, and that way check that you are a human user.
[Library.coloradocollege.edu] See Also: November 2005 Archives: Michael Stephens of Tame the Web has an interesting post entitled The Unintended Consequences of Social Software (or Putting Yourself Out There) It is interesting not just because he links to my family photos under "happy times," (which is sweet) or because he has nice things to say about the Tutt Library Flickr page that my colleagues and I have set up (which is awesome).
[Ifcblog.ifctv.com] Captain's Blog: thoughts, opinions, posts, film talk, reviews at ...: "Kung Faux" is currently constructed as a half hour series, but we could easily combine a couple of episodes to achieve feature length in a sort of "chaptered" story telling format over 90minutes or 2hours a la movies like "New York Stories", "Aria", or even "CreepShow", or they could also be broken up into smaller short form edits that are more like 5, or 10 minutes long, & they can even be re-voiced with a new theme to support something like a chop socky, action, or comedy block of film programming that you might have planned this year the way you did with "Greg the Bunny", which I give you mad props for bringing back!-shout out to Holland & Chinoy & Crew for keeping Greg & Warren off of the unemployment line!
[Blog.ultralab.net] Andy Roberts' Blog: learning Archives: Some of the features and processes of our online University are explained as metaphors for a 'Real University' but it also needs to be remembered that if Ultraversity is sucessful, it will not be as an online version of a traditional institution but something completely new and different which works in ways that were previously inconceivable.
