[Stitches of a Rag Dolly Boy] * In Quebec only, for both sexes, shaking hands in a casual context implies distance. Embracing (holding each other loosely in the arms while lightly kissing each other's cheeks, once for each side) is usually expected.

[Crosswalk.com] Crosswalk.com - JWhite: To some, the only appropriate way to be a Christian in Washington is to share Christ on every elevator, make speeches littered with Scripture on the congressional floor, and insist on biblical language in every policy. Instead, these Christians expressed a desire for fellow believers to understand how their calling is unique, specifically in how it is rooted in the dynamics of common grace, finding its most effective expression in the appeal to natural law.

[Class.cas.msu.edu] TC375 BLOG (Fall 2006): There are always talks about which gaming system is better than the other. Every time next generation systems are released this always happens. Some people are just fans of one system over another, some actually see which system is technically better, and some pick a system based on the games that are made just for that system. The advertisement itself seems slated toward the audiences they want playing with their system. The Wii advertises as a for anyone, get a group of people to play, type system. This also shows with the price tag of about $250. The PS3 on the other hand is advertised as the adults only, this system is for a hardcore video game player. The 360 seems to also advertise like the PS3 as something for a more adult gaming generation. Also, with the PS3 slated at about $600 and the 360 is still about $400, it is easy to show that they are geared toward higher income individuals. However, who will win in this battle royale of the newest systems? It’s hard to say. The 360 has already been plagued with system problems such as overheating systems, freezing games, and a disc reader that burns scratches into games. The PS3 has been pushed back numerous times to work the bugs out of its system and Sony seems to not be rushing to release its system. The Wii has been quietly waiting and hasn’t advertised or even released a whole lot of information until just in the past months. The only thing I know for certain is that competition between these companies only benefits the consumers. If they’re trying so hard to beat each other in this race, then we as consumers benefit because of better and better technology.
