[Behind The Fiction by DBA Lehane] A few people have kindly contacted me to let me know they discovered my Short Short Fiction blog through it, and some have even been kind enough to say they were actually inspired by what I do. It's great, as a writer to be read, but to be inspiring people...well, I just can't explain how good and positive that feels!
Some related posts from Technorati and Google.
Jefferson Davis: I have to put up with family for far too long. It rains or snows constantly. I have to go out in the dark and scrape the frost off of my vehicle. (That is, when I get another one.) The days are too short. Skint, Susan, DBA, Minx, Phil, Brian, and Wayne it's your turn now. :) (via Cosmos)
Behind The Fiction by DBA Lehane: Whilst my stories can be dark at the best of times, there are certain bounds of common decency I wouldn't cross. Thankfully, when I investigated further, the search had pinpointed me as the story The Night We Made Love With The Light Off is about necrophilia but doesn't involve a dead child, I hasten to add! skint writer: Maybe she liked the fact that her face was on my Christmas cards, or maybe it annoyed her. I suspect it might have done, as the picture is that Sassoferrato - one of those Baroque paintings where the Blessed Virgin looks like shes from Surrey - and though I have no idea what she looked like I dont suppose it was like that. Trevors Writing: I haven’t tried writing stories that short though I have written many writing exercises in the form of short fiction with a maximum of 55 words, based on a competition that was run by a magazine some years ago. To read some of these stories click here. (via Cosmos)
A TANGLED WEB - Tangled Blog: This is a nation that gives an example every day that is imitated across the world. We gave the world the children of the RPG [Rocket Propelled Grenades], we gave the world the children stone [-throwers], and we gave the world the male and female Martyrdom-Seekers [suicide bombers) (via Cosmos)
Behind The Fiction by DBA Lehane: Okay, so I've chosen to start off my new blog about writing with a piece of micro fiction. It was simply a case of messing around with the idea of writing a 26 word story in alphabetical order. (via Cosmos)
[Jaiarjun.blogspot.com] Jabberwock: Not that I dont understand the need for this usage: Ive complained often enough on this blog that people dont seem to understand comedy that doesnt announce itself loudly, that doesnt come with a large signboard saying “Kindly laugh here.” My repeated exhortations that nothing I say or write is to be taken seriously (except when I proclaim that cats are our last remaining links to the Divine; thats honest) fall on deaf ears.
[Tooconservative.com] Too Conservative » Blog Archive » Allen Under Fire”¦and Rightly So: Furrycat, interesting that the Wikipedia entry was substantially modified today and is remarkably different from the entry cached on Friday, particularly as today’s modifications are attributed to you. That aside, you may have a future as a fiction writer/WAPO columnist.
[Critiquesoflibertarianism.blogspot.com] Critiques Of Libertarianism: But common law (a common libertarian obsession) is a distraction from my point, that the US Constitution was primarily intended to define mechanism, not policy such as rights. Now that statement may be "absurd and awful" to you, Nick, with your heavy investment in ideology and received interpretation of law.
