[Twofishs Blog] A lot of this is being influenced by the Chinese philosopher Dai Zhen, who spent a lot of time trying to construct a moral philosophy based on empathy, and who argued that the Cheng-Chu school had erred in viewing feelings and emotions as things to be removed to get at one’s inner goodness. I’ve been starting to read more of Dai Zhen.

[Twofish.wordpress.com] Twofishs Blog » wikipedia: One of the points that I made at the Wikipedia conference was that I didn’t think in the end that Wikipedia was a threat to the Chinese government. The one wikibook I’d like to see written in Chinese is in fact a users guide to Chinese law, which the central government should welcome since it will state clearly what activities are and are not prohibited and how to use the law to do things like sue corrupt local officials that are flouting Beijing’s policy directives.
[The Daedalus Files] Changi Chalet and a lot of fun stuff.: After arriving at the chalet, I proceded to knock the door in a horror-movie-esque style. The problem is, the people already there weren't scared.
