A Bowl of Stupid: If you're unaware, David Sedaris is arguably one of the wittiest American humorists to come around since Garrison Keillor. He is well known amongst the "New Yorker" intellencia set for his short stories, as well as his appearances on the NPR show "This American Life." Others may better know of him through his sister, Amy Sedaris, the actor/comedian star of "Strangers With Candy." (via Cosmos)

The reactors that Westinghouse plans to sell to the State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation (SNPTC) of China are based on its latest reactor system AP1000, a 1100 MWe `Generation III+' LWR with an advanced modular design and passive safety features, which is claimed to bring down capital costs and construction time significantly to $1-1.2 billion/MWe and 36 months respectively.
