Fortunately this attempt was thwarted by the sites editors, however because of the nature of the site, it is simply prone to error.

Brainstorm in Progress: Wikis - More than Text and Context
[Brainstorm in Progress] Although the course goals include collaborative work to "reconsider traditional concepts of 'author' and 'self,' working together to build a better world, encourage a sense of community, and become aware of others contributions" her recent collected data provides insight as to "who" are these students in her Sakai Wiki community. Come to this session to see the paradigms that underlie the structure of the course, what the students do with the Wiki in class and after the semester ends, and who these students are (including demographics, previous wiki contributions, and perceptions of self, information technology, and active involvement in their learning process).

Shedding Light On Blogs & Wikis - mrpbps' iPhonography
[mrpbps' iPhonography] This afternoon it was up to Melbourne for a practical hands-on session on blogs and wikis. It was heaps of fun working with teachers who really wanted to explore ways to use these tools in their teaching made even more pleasurable by the chance to work in a well appointed Mac lab.

Where cyber attacks have been the province of nation-states and their governments for almost 30 years, what we’ve seen recently, Bruce explains, is the rise of non-state actors. While these non-state actors might be tolerated by the state as is the case with attacks originating out of China, these agents of political and economic change have fundamentally changed not just the number of attacks, but the type of attacks.

[AIDS.gov blog] We use a wiki to create this blog, and we started doing this because several members of the AIDS.gov team collaborate to create the posts. We found that it was difficult to keep up with all the e-mails flying back and forth.

[on TechRepublic] When you create templates, it makes building the group wiki much easier. Instead of users or administrators creating pages by hand every time, you can create templates that users can then load.

Fae: User Story: Gamification and Wikimedia Commons mass upload
[Fae] A large research body has establish a image sharing programme in partnership with four other images services including Commons (in practice the Wikimedia Foundation and the UK chapter) to provide an image clearing service for research image mass donations. Each of the five organizations has access to the image staging area and planned mass donations fit minimal upload criteria of known copyright status (some may be constrained for non-commercial use), EXIF data with complete originator information and associated "at the bench" description data for the majority of uploads.

My Musings: Tutorial 4 - Collective Intelligence/Wikis
[My Musings] Well according to Wikipedia, Collective Intelligences are, 'a shared or group intelligence that emerges from the collaboration and competition of many individuals and appears in consensus decision making in computer networks'. Hmm, so this means that Wikipedia is also a Collective Intelligence...by its very own definition!
